"We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a wonderful experience. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The only issue we encountered was that the air conditioner leaked, soaking all of our clothes. Thankfully, the hotel staff handled the situation incredibly well and washed all of our clothing at no extra charge, which we really appreciated.
One of the highlights of our stay was all the wildlife around the resort. We saw monkeys, macaws, deer, raccoons, and even some of the adorable rat-like animals native to the area, which made the experience feel very unique.
The food was excellent! The main buffet had a huge variety of options, and the green chilaquiles were definitely my favorite. I recommend going early in the morning since it gets very busy later on. We also had lunch one day at the oceanfront buffet, and it was fantasticāthe food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it was much less crowded. Pacoās Tacos and the pizza were also both delicious.
Definitely make dinner reservations ahead of timeātheyāre absolutely worth it. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian restaurant, and we also really enjoyed the Oriental restaurant. The steakhouse, however, wasnāt our favorite and was the only dining experience we probably wouldnāt repeat.
The beach is on the smaller side, but we were lucky enough to have beautiful, crystal-clear water during our stay. Another huge perk is that Xcaret Park is literally about a five-minute walk from the hotel entrance."
